Time: All are welcome to arrive around 16:30 (4:30 p.m.) for a no-host join-up happy hour in the lounge / bar area. Followed by our banquet starting at 17:30 (5:30 p.m.) in their private dining rooms.
Menu: Along with your RSVP, each person needs to pick their menu choices:
1st Course: Caesar Salad - Romaine, caesar dressing, croutons and grated parmesan.
2d Course (entree) Pick one of the three options
- Tagliatelle Bolognese: Fresh tagliatelle pasta, house ragu sauce, ricotta, parmesan and basil.
- Grilled Chicken Bruschetta: Marinated chicken breast, grilled then topped with our marinated baby tomato bruschetta, finished with a balsamic reduction and seasonal vegetables.
- Broiled Shrimp Scampi: Garlic marinated shrimp, broiled in butter and shallots, finished with a white wine & herb butter sauce and served with seasonal vegetables
3rd Course (dessert): Pick one of the two options
- Obici’s Tiramisu: Light mascarpone cream, espresso-soaked sponge cake, feuilletine crunch.
- Crème Brulee: Chef's Seasonal Flavor
The private, adjoining rooms can accommodate 40 people (put another way, 20 couples). Because of this, we ask everyone whose schedule permits to please make your reservation soon to secure a place.
Cost: Inflation is hitting the restaurant business hard, so prices are up. That said, the executive committee worked hard to find a very good, reasonably priced location with excellent food. Cost is $35 for members (and spouse; per person) and $45 for non-members. Cost excludes your beverages but the Association is covering tax and gratuity for the evening.
Attire: We recommend coat & tie (sport jackets or blazers also acceptable) for the men; comfortable evening wear for the ladies (…or whatever they want to wear as we will not even try to recommend ladies attire). With that said, more important than what you wear is that you be comfortable and join us for our once-a-year dinning out.
