Cruising

We  participate in several cruising regattas throughout the year.  The  cruises may be  an overnight  raft up, in a marina or distant locations  up the  Chesapeake Bay. We annually award the Fililu Cruising Cup to  the member  with most days and nights on the water.

Attached is a  Word.doc version of our day cruise plan / nav brief worksheet.  It is  what we’ve used for the past couple of years to “plan my flight, fly my  plan”.  It is  done the night before to pre-plan or pre-brief the expected  next days sailing conditions and environmental expectations. The  form is a fill-in the blank format.  All straight forward stuff.  This  format is very Chesapeake Bay specific.
